eLichens successfully prototyped the world's first 1-ppm NDIR LEL/Methane sensor.
Methane leaks (including small ones) must be detected, monitored and reduced as they threaten lives, worsen global warming and have an economic impact as 2 million tonnes of methane are lost every year.
We are very proud to introduce a breakthrough for gas detection applications/markets with the first ever patented 1-ppm NDIR LEL sensor. The 1-ppm methane sensor comes with the attributes of eLichens NDIR technology which are: low power consumption, high performance, self-calibration, lifetime >20 years and optimized cost.
We are currently working on this prototype everyday, stay tuned for more news in a few months.
