May 2022 was a month full of international trade shows for eLichens, what a great opportunity to present our latest innovations in the gas sensor market, air quality monitoring and gas leak detection solution in other countries to new companies which might be interested in what we do.
We were present first in Germany for Sensor+Test 2022 in Nuremberg, the next one was Utility Week Live 2022 in Birmingham, UK, and we finished the month in Daegu, Korea, for the big event World Gas Conference 2022.

Sensor+Test 2022 - Nuremberg, Germany
Sensor+Test is the leading trade fair for sensor and measurement technology, it has been successful in its return to a presence event after the last attendance event in 2019, 2 years ago. It consisted in 3 days of exhibition for 371 exhibitors and around 4500 visitors and conference participants.
Sensor+Test 2022 was an important moment for eLichens as we were finally able to meet our market’s customers and partners, planned the future and had intensive exchange of ideas. We were able to show the high potential of our NDIR double-channel gas sensors Mulberry & Cranberry whose strong points are very low consumption and high stability/longevity, but also our CO2 monitor AURA BLE/LoRA which perfectly meets the needs of schools, industrials, concerned with preserving the air quality in their premises.
It was 3 days rich in meetings with our current customers, our future customers as well as the companies which participate to improve even more the sensors and associated products.
Utility Week Live 2022 - Birmingham, UK
Utility Week Live 2022 took place on May 17-18 in Birmingham and it was two intense days for us alongside 200+ exhibitors addressing today and future challenges in the energy, water, and gas industries.
eLichens showcased its latest innovations for the gas utility market: a comprehensive range of ultra-low power Methane sensors and its battery-powered natural gas leak detector, Avolta.
eLichens’ gas leak detection technology is already well established in the US and Europe, but not very present on the UK market, so the show allowed us to efficiently connect with top UK utilities and local energy agencies like EIC.
World Gas Conference 2022 - Daegu, Korea
WGC2022 is the world’s largest global gas event, presented by the International Gas Union (IGU) and hosted by the Korea Gas Union (KGU) in a world-class exhibition and convention venue. The event aims to promote the role of natural gas in a sustainable future.
Korea and Asia itself is a huge market where we are sure to be more present soon to make discover future possibilities and possible solutions that our expertise in the field can bring to them today. WGC2022 was the perfect opportunity for us to present our specific gas sensing technologies with our NDIR gas sensors and gas leak detector Avolta towards new delegates, business leaders, experts and policy makers across the gas industry who were interested in knowing more about us and what we do.
1 week, 12,000 participants from 90 countries and more than 350 exhibitors covering the entire spectrum of gas industry including producers, buyers, solution providers and related industries. A place to be for us, it has been a great experience and we would like to thank everyone we had the chance to meet and have great discussions.
